Driving Tips

Many young motorists mistakenly believe that 2-3 months of driving is a sufficient driving experience. Remember that in the case of driving a fair criticism is only good. Therefore, we recommend you listen to advice of experienced drivers and read special car insurance literature. In this article we describe the most common mistakes committed by beginner drivers.

1. Too loose fit behind the wheel, arbitrary position of arms, feet and body promotes relaxation and reduction of attention. Remember: the position of a driver must be such that he/she is able to take urgent action to prevent an emergency at any moment. The driver must always be ready to turn the wheel sharply and push the brake pedal.
2. Another typical error of beginners is unnecessary tension. It indicates the uncertainty and inability to navigate in the road conditions. No wonder if such a driver forgets to switch on turning signals, is late in braking and makes a lot of unnecessary actions. For example, strain of neck muscles prevents normal review of the road. Therefore, the driver should have optimal position of the body before driving. Muscles of hands should be moderately relaxed, and the attention should be focused on the road.
3. Do not practice often change of acceleration and braking. The fact is that the sharp acceleration alternated with slow speed will distract and irritate a driver that follows you. Therefore, you should give up the sharp taps on the foot-throttle. In addition, it is necessary to control optimal distance and do not exceed the normal mode of the engine.
4. Another common mistake is the lack of pedal sense. Such drivers are usually premature to increase speed, but lose moving dynamics due to the long pauses when switching gears. Remember: speed should be slowed down in time, but not at the last moment.
